Taylor Academy 12 and 12e stand out for their focus on comfort, accessibility and clarity. With their compact Grand Concert body, these guitars are easy to hold and ideal for fingerstyle or lighter playing styles. The signature slim Taylor's neck ensures smooth fretting. A beveled armrest adds extra comfort during long playing sessions.

The Academy 12 features a torrefied spruce top, which gives it a more aged sound, paired with layered walnut back and sides for a rich, balanced tone.

The Academy 12e, on the other hand, uses Sitka Spruce for the top, offering a bright, responsive sound, while the Walnut back and sides add warmth. It also includes Taylor’s ES-B electronics, so you can easily amplify your sound and tune on the go. Both models come with a gig bag for protection and portability.
